These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Plant Doctor mobile application ("App") and associated services. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Plant Doctor utilizes advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze plant images and suggest potential diagnoses for diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies. The App also provides organic and chemical treatment recommendations based on visual analysis.

Medical/Agricultural Disclaimer: The AI diagnosis is provided for informational and educational purposes only. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in our assessments, or the efficacy or safety of proposed agricultural treatments. We are not liable for any agricultural decisions, misdiagnoses, or subsequent crop loss. You should always exercise independent judgment and consult with a professional botanist or agriculturist for critical or commercial plant health decisions.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

Plant Doctor offers both a Free Tier and a Premium ("PRO") Subscription via in-app purchases.

• Free Tier users are subject to feature limitations, including a restricted number of daily scans and limited access to their deep scan history database.
• PRO Subscriptions are managed exclusively via the Google Play Store and billed through your Google Play account via our partner RevenueCat. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription directly inside your Google Play Store account settings.

3. Fair Use Policy CRITICAL

To ensure high-quality service, reliable performance, and server integrity for all of our users, Plant Doctor enforces a strict Fair Use Policy regarding our AI visual scanning features.

While PRO users have enhanced access, there is a daily limit of 50 plant scans per day to ensure system stability and prevent API abuse.

• This generous limit is designed to easily cover the daily diagnostic needs of the vast majority of personal gardeners, botanists, and indoor plant hobbyists.
• Prohibited Activity: The use of automated scripts, bots, reverse engineering, or any third-party tools to artificially generate scans, bypass app constraints, or scrape data is strictly forbidden.
• Accounts found violating this Fair Use Policy or engaging in automated behavior will face immediate suspension without the possibility of a refund.

4. User Responsibilities

When using Plant Doctor, you agree not to submit images that are illegal, offensive, or unrelated to the intended purpose of plant diagnostics. You remain the owner of the images you upload, but you grant us the necessary rights to process them through our servers and affiliated AI engines (e.g., Google Gemini) to securely deliver the service to your device.

5. Communication

The App may display In-App Messages to you during your regular usage to provide tips, offers, or service announcements. You acknowledge that these messages are an integral part of the 'Plant Doctor' service experience.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Plant Doctor and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, or for any physical or digital actions taken based on the diagnostic results and treatment plans provided.

7. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to securely update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
