use our Android mobile application ("App") and any related services.

We only collect the information necessary to provide and improve the Plant Doctor experience.
- Account Information: When you sign up, we strictly collect your Email address
solely for authentication and secure account management purposes.
- Plant Photos: To diagnose plant diseases, our App requires you to capture or
upload Plant Photos. These images are essential for the core functionality of our AI diagnosis.
- Usage Data: We may collect diagnostic data, crash reports, and usage metrics to
improve the App's performance and user experience.
- Push Notifications: If you grant permissions, we utilize OneSignal to send you
Push Notifications. You have full control and can opt-out of these notifications at any time via
your device settings.
2. How We Use and Process Your Data
The information we collect is used in the following ways:
- Providing AI-powered plant disease diagnosis.
- Managing your subscription status and premium benefits.
- Maintaining your personal "Scan History" so you can track plant health over time.
- In-App Messaging & Communication: We use OneSignal not only for Push
Notifications but also for In-App Messaging to provide updates, tips, and promotional offers.
Interaction Data (like whether you clicked an in-app message) is processed via OneSignal to
personalize the user experience. This is done to improve the service and keep you informed about
plant care.
External Processing: To provide accurate diagnostics, the plant images you upload
are processed securely via Google Gemini AI. By using the app, you consent to your
images being analyzed by this third-party service solely for the purpose of identifying plant health
markers.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your account information, app settings, and plant scan history are securely stored on
Supabase encrypted databases. We implement modern security standards to protect
your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
4. Third-Party Services
Plant Doctor utilizes trusted third-party providers:
- Supabase: Custom database hosting, robust user authentication, and secure image
storage.
- RevenueCat: Managed in-app subscriptions and premium transactions securely.
Payment information is processed safely through the Google Play Store; we do not store your
credit card details.
- Google Gemini AI: For sophisticated processing of image data to generate
diagnosis and treatment plans.
- OneSignal: We use OneSignal to deliver timely Push Notifications. This service
requires sharing basic device tokens securely to ensure notifications reach your specific
device.
5. Your Privacy Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your account information at any time. If you wish to
delete your account, remove your data, and clear your associated scan history, you can do so
directly within the App settings or by contacting our support team.
6. Account Deletion and Data Retention
We provide a clear and easy way for you to manage your data, including the complete removal of your account and all associated information. In accordance with Google Play Store requirements, you have the following rights and procedures for data deletion:
- Right to Deletion: You may request the permanent deletion of your account at any time. This includes all personal information (such as Google Sign-in profile data), your entire plant scan history, and any associated RevenueCat purchase records.
- How to Request Deletion: To initiate an account deletion request, please send an email from your registered email address to isharamadushankab@gmail.com.
- Required Information: Please use the subject line "Account Deletion Request" to ensure your request is prioritized and processed promptly.
- Processing Time: Upon receiving your verified request, we will manually delete all your data from our Supabase servers and connected third-party services within 7 to 14 business days. Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.
